i am not sure if the tickets are getting deleted or not, but i my ticket was disappeared right after i submitted it and i still got a reply which i knew via my email.
 
I received a reply to my ticket earlier, they told me clearly that they can't recover my backups.. Well I don't want to experience this again, sad to say but I'm dropping my services off ServeDome this time...
 
Same here, I have submitted a support ticket, sent a pm here on WJ .. and an email on the support id they mentioned.

There site is not responding most of the time, but when its up, cant find any of my tickets i submitted. I have no idea why they keeping us in dark.

Although one of my US vps starts working back with everything i had on it, but couple of NL vps are still down, and the loss of DB is what worrying me.

I think the ticket couldn't be registered in our system properly, so could you submit the ticket once again? Did you get any acknowledgement via e-mail?

Now my tickets are deleted and they keep deleting.

Your tickets were not deleted but instead they were merged due to multiple tickets about the same issue.

@coldabishek: Sadly, "as soon as possible" means 18 to 24 hours at minimum. I have 3 VPS with you and all of them were offline for more than 48 hours already. I probably received 3 emails from you since Saturday regarding that ticket but no action has been done from your side until now. I still cannot see any single VPS in my SolusVM panel.

It's much better if you explain to us via email (or via this forum) what is being done to restore our data, what are your plans if the restore will not succeed, and what are your plans to avoid this scenario in the future. As I posted yesterday, Servedome should compensate us unfortunate customers because this scenario could have been avoided if you secured your systems properly.

Some of your customers were probably lucky to have their own backups hosted on other reliable hosts. As for me, my Netherlands VPS has daily backups but they are stored in your Germany VPS - and they were gone as well. How do you plan to compensate us for our losses and damages? My forum has been built for more than 4 years and I could not just magically create 1,000,000 forum posts in one day. I know it's my fault for not downloading the backup to my own computer, but that is the reason why I opted to pay for another VPS - for data redundancy.
 
I agree with SinnerSaint81,

My one of friend is the client of Servedome. and his forum also build from 2005 to 2011. his site running on German VPS. nearly 2 million posts, 20 thousands topic, and 5000 members lost. and they are not clarify answer to him if they actually lost his data or not.

I feel that they just take their time to re-manage all their clients and their information of invoices. NOT FOR CLIENTS DATA AND BACKUP

I hope everyone's data they recover. otherwise i can't think so that their exist clients still use their hosting service.
 
Yesterday I moved on other company and I request refund.. It's the second time that I need to restore all data not for my foult.. And now that I'm trying this new server, I can only say that servedome's server are a little slow..

Ok i got a respond in the ticket system and it clearly states that none of the data can be recovered, and the only assistance they can give you right now is to get a new VPS provisionally, plain and simple.

I remember last time when something like this happened and i lost all the Database of my sites, they offered the provisional vps like they are doing right now, plus they also offered an internal 25 gb backup for each vps. Here we are the same scenario repeating.

I am not blaming them because of there service or support is not good, both were really great. But when it comes to reliability and costumer trust issues, thats what been missing here. Every company gets threatened, hacked, security breached, but after that how they get up with taking minimum damage and not effecting there clients is what requires to keep it in the market and I'm sorry to say i just lost it this time.

I hope you guys will start over with great services and i wish you all the very best of luck in the future, but i have to move over.
 
Got my account with cpanel/whm installed on it and the pass for cpanel isn't working waiting for the support to help me (Vps not added in my Vps Control Panel)

Its been nearly 4 days till now since the servers are down

Support also taking a long time Expecting it will be done by today
 
Already got a claim for this downtime! Needs to happen soon!!!!

This is really becoming a joke! Almost 4 days of downtime with no resolutions so far. All I receive from are emails asking if I want them to re-provision my VPS, if I have personal backups, etc. All of the emails are questions and does not address my issues. I really feel sorry for renting 3 VPS from them since I cannot use even just a single VPS right now.

I feel they don't value their loyal customers at all. Ticket replies are now taking more than 24 hours to happen.

Ok I was the past 3 days asking and asking about what happened to my data and after this time, the answer was:

The previous data couldn't be recovered from the server.

So I'm leaving servedome, years of work in my site were lost, and also 3000 $ in a site that was bought from me, is also lost. DONT BUY FROM SERVEDOME!

I think its your fault that you have not manage your 3000$ backup. after investing 3000$ you are not interested in your backup then think how they can interest in your backup after earn $15 from you per month ?

and how could you know that the second host will not got Hacked ?

I think this time you must be need to use your minds. Investing more in this month is better you used free hosting month with servedome. to providing them another chance as consider last ever chance.
 
i did, but you're trusting information, even if i do a backup a week, but you get like 3000 post per day and 3000 video uploads per day, you're losing too much is like if you're house were robbed and i told you is your fault for living in your house.
 
If you have a site that is that valuable to you, you should have enough common sense to have your own dedicated server or virtual-server to with hold and contain your sensetive data
 
anyway I asked for a refund and i'm still waiting for it, just for the last month since i didn't have the time to use it. It was online for one week I guess, so i prefer i get my 17$ dollars back than the free month i was offered.

PD: 17$ because i got two ips on that vps.
