I like servedome even they got lost our data before, this is the second time. If they really cannot be able to restore our vps and data, I should stop hosting with them and find the better one.

I am also waiting their explanation what is really happened to their system. Until now they don't have any explanation. :(
 
Here's what happened according to their email a while ago:

An e-mail was sent to clients claiming that ServeDome is closing

This claim is totally untrue and we are not closing. We apologize to all our clients that this was a result of our server being compromised.
Your credit card information remains 100% safe. We store no financial information on our server instead it is stored on external merchant gateway's server which is highly secure. We would also like to tell you that we have no direct access to your credit card information so you can be rest assured that it is safe

You are requested to change your account and service passwords as soon as possible. If you require any further assistance then we can be contacted through support tickets in the client area or through e-mail at this address: support@servedome.com

I have changed server.. no more servedome..

It was ok the first time, but it's the second time in about 6 month that was hacked.. I have purchased from another one now..
 
They are leaving us hanging in here, why can't they just tell us that our VPS is gone and there's no way for them to recover it. I really feel bad about this, a web hosting company should always be prepared for intrusions like this, they should at least backup everything even once a week. I dropped them emails and support tickets but still no clarity on what really happened. They also say that they can't "directly" recover vps, so does that mean there's still a possibility to recover it? It's very unclear..

Servedome is a joke it's being run by lil kids with no knowledge on how to handle or secure their servers, i just had enough, and yeah your right sinnersaint they should compensate for the damages they caused, and if you kids get butt hurt with what i said then please mods delete my reply, im just being straight up with them. BTW it's all about the money.

Same here, I have submitted a support ticket, sent a pm here on WJ .. and an email on the support id they mentioned.

There site is not responding most of the time, but when its up, cant find any of my tickets i submitted. I have no idea why they keeping us in dark.

Although one of my US vps starts working back with everything i had on it, but couple of NL vps are still down, and the loss of DB is what worrying me.
