Yes, I'm aware of the origins of bitcoin. but it was extremely convenient for me that RG adapted the Paypal payment method; I buy things from eBay, send cash to friends. Having the funds in Paypal was my optimal situation.
Earnings in the past year have dropped a lot for me, even though I'm still posting the same material, the same amount. A bad month I can earn $15. I used to consistently get at least $80.
I don't need this money. I'm aware a lot of affiliates do. If you live in India, $100USD is a huge amount of money.
RG dropped Paypal so now my option is back to that nasty credit card. Fees to withdraw cash out of the card in the ATM, foreign currency charges etc are why I originally stopped using that card. It's not going to be any better now.
I don't want to deal with Bitcoin. So virtual credit card again is my only option.
I never wanted to leave much credit in my RG account - if the site decides to "disappear" it takes everyone's cash with it. But if on an ongoing basis, I don't leave much in there, that's at least a bit of security for me.
RG can simply dissolve itself, keep all affiliate funds, rename itself and start over with affiliate funds kept in their pocket. Nothing can be done.
So it means having to once again accumulate $500 before they'll payout. I'm not happy about this.
