I would like to know if I can make money on file hosting sites (cyber lockers) downloading or uploading files myself? is this allowed?

downloading my files and earning money?

Question is can I simply download files from a different IP that I've posted and earn money? or does it have to be from a bunch of people.

Can one person downloading you're links earn you money?

Yes you can do that. But it is essentially cheating the system and will get you banned. You also won't make a lot of money unless you have access to a lot of IP's. And oh yea forgot to mention you'll get banned.
