I have a porn tube in the japanese niche and I currently thinking about something : how is it possible to get a decent amount of traffic fast ?
I ask this question because one "competitor" is online only since november 2014 and get easily 200-250 simultaneous visitors. I checked on Statshow and other online tools and he has almost no backlink (just 2 link trades with other same niche websites).
My website is online since january. I contacted one of the 2 same websites for a link exchange, but no response so far. My website (and competitors as well) is powered by wordpress. Others use a plugin for the tube (something a bit strange because I hardly found it and it was kinda broken). I created a plugin very similar so when you look at it, it's the same(but of course, not the same theme). I also use Yoast SEO with auto meta description for the pages.
For promoting my website, I read How To Get Free Traffic To Your Adult Website - Tips & Tricks. I have a link in my signature on a forum and I have a tumblr account (around 50 followers in one week).
the competitor is "javboomDOTtv". Mine is "javichibanDOTcom".
Do you know how is it possible to get that amount of traffic so fast ? Did he paid his traffic ?
