OK I KNOW im gonna probably get yelled at BUT I have to ask... alot of these big forums like WBB get alot of thier posts via RSS feeds or blog scraping. What I wanna know is how the heck they do it? You could try to use RSS feeds on scripts like vbulletin or IPB but the blogs with full feeds are hard to come by.
The other method I could think of is to setup a blog and then set that blog up for blog scraping other sites and then feed the blog posts into your forum. YES this is f$$%$ed up but it seems the more content you have the more registrations AND activity you get.
Any suggestions? I know all the basics and more as I have had my first of 2 forums up for over a year yet I barely have 3,000 members.
Thanks
