I think many will be interested and this will help to form their own opinion. As I said, my payment has been pending since May, almost four months.
August 23, I receive this message:
"Hi,
Sorry for the delay here. I just wanted to update you on the status of your payment.
As you know businesses worldwide have been negatively impacted due to the current pandemic. This has affected our sales and unfortunately we experienced a temporary drop in revenue as many customers could no longer afford their payments, which meant that we had to hold back some affiliate payments.
However the good news is that we have secured additional funding to help us out of this temporary shortfall. Once the funds arrive in a few weeks we will be able to make regular affiliate payments again. Rest assured that we are not going out of business, and we truly value you as an affiliate, now and into the future.
In the meantime please keep uploading and sharing popular files daily to receive higher earnings and faster payouts."
Really? Will there be a payment after all?
August 27, I receive this message:
Hi,
I noticed that you submitted an Affiliate payment request. In order to qualify for payment you need to be an Active Affiliate as outlined in the Affiliate terms (https://www.filefactory.com/legal/affiliate.php).
I'll highlight the relevant paragraph here:
In order to qualify for payment, Affiliate must be actively participating in the Program. An active Affiliate is defined as having generated at least 100 unique completed downloads from your Account during the preceding 30 days, and uploaded a new
unique file to your Account on at least 15 of the preceding 30 days.
At the moment, the upload and download activity in your account doesn't qualify you as an Active Affiliate.
We would love to have you back on board as an active affiliate again and earning a monthly income by uploading and sharing regularly."
My payment is now "reversed".
Of course, the Partner that does not pay its partners does not deserve any trust and further work with him.
So I stopped working with him many months ago and am not going to resume.
Apparently he is trying to resume work and is looking for new partners.
The above conditions from affiliate.php appeared AFTER I have submitted a payment request. YES, he still does not want to pay!
Trying to justify this with conditions that did not exist at the time of the payment request!
Draw your own conclusions. I do not recommend anyone to work with such a partner!
