Hi WJunction — launching EmbedWave, a free movie & TV embed API. The whole product is one honest promise: zero injected ads. No popunders, no redirects, no trackers — the player shell is the entire payload, inspect it yourself.
What it does:
- Address any movie or episode by TMDB ID: embedwave.cc/embed/movie/{tmdb_id} and /embed/tv/{tmdb_id}/{season}/{episode}
- Same URL shape as vidsrc/2embed/superembed — migration is a find-and-replace of the domain in your iframe sources
- Multi-server player: viewers switch sources live without leaving your page (?server= to pin one per link)
- No API key, no signup, no domain allowlist
- Params: server, autoplay, nobrand (hides the small "Powered by" badge for partners)
Links:
- Site + live demo: embedwave.cc
- Docs: embedwave.cc/docs
- Examples (plain HTML / React / Next): github.com/reecelopezgit/tmdb-embed-api
It's early days and I'd rather hear problems now than assume it's perfect — roast it, stress-test it, tell me what breaks. Which features would matter to you before you'd swap an existing site over?
