ICANN published new Universal Acceptance guidelines this week, and it reminded me of an old web-dev problem.
Some scripts, plugins, and account systems used to reject valid longer TLDs because their checks only expected short endings like .com or .org.
Any webmasters here still seeing this in 2026?
