Improvement of account security measures

Security of the business account, where the main activity of partners takes place is the priority with the highest importance. The leaking of information, personal data or any harmful acts of intruders is inadmissible. Due to the recent complex tests and feedback from our partners, we have detected some security flaws in the personal cabinet that have been successfully addressed. In addition, various useful improvements have been made, that is what we would like to talk about today.

Many of the partners are well-known about "Security Code" that can be set in settings and additionally requested for each important action to your account. Previously, the "Security Code" could be easily disabled only by removing the checkmark to the corresponding option in the settings. Now it can be removed only by entering it again, or through a request to support.

Also, from now on for each partner, the system automatically assigns the session type mark. If the session is not secure or the session type does not coincide with the previous one, then for some actions "Security Code" or password will be requested more often.

In addition, we would like to remind you that the account on filehostings, though closely connected to the affiliate account, are not the same. These are different accounts that can have different rules, different settings, and different login data. Please be aware of that.

A common case that partners face at the moment is that when they log into Turbobit/HitFile account, then click on balance, getting redirected to the CostAction cabinet. But, it's is considered an insecure session because CostAction password has not been inputted. It also means that CostAction will request a password/code every time a partner wants to do something in the "Payouts" and "Settings" sections. To prevent this from happening, just login to CostAction using a password through the form:

Another, but no less important improvement is that if you have changed the password, all active sessions will now be reset! This is done to prevent intruders from staying in your account. On the account setting page, the "Reset all sessions" button has been added too.

A lot of different tasks have been completed to refine and validate the program code. A lot of tests were implied for security measures refinement.

We hope you acknowledge all the efforts. And we will certainly continue to work on the convenience and improvement of the projects.
