Best way to store IP's?

I Google'd this but can't seem to find the best one. Guys, please suggest the best way of storing IP's. Should it be stored in a mysql database or should i save them in txt file instead?

that depends what you are storge ip for,if you can storge it in txt file then do not storge in mysql,it is faster to read from txt file compare to mysql database

I recommend you to store the ips in mysql because you can personalize it by setting a password so anybody can get access to it .setting some restrictions to it ,etc .

Just store them in a text file or some shit. Unless you need them regularly to be displayed on a public page. In that case, a database.
