hi guys,
submiting DDL site is a big task :)) i think, so i am listing few auto submitters here

using auto submitter or any easiest way like apps or firefox addon, SHARE your way of submitting so this may help others too

Didn't JMZ have a DDL submitter that saved preferences (warezlinkers auto)? I remember linkplz ddl had a submitter as well that saved preferences but it closed. Most people never used save preferences.

Anyway the whole way of how people submit is terrible. All you need is the email address the website use to submit and you can submit for them.

A few years ago when DDL sites used to get a lot more traffic people would set up a DDL site and advertise it on WJ. That could all be done in less than an hour. People with 5 star warez sites on large DDL's would submit to this new fake site and use the same email address they use to submit to all DDL sites as it's easier and the only option if you use a DDL Submitter.

What the person who created a new DDL could then do is register as a regular member on the 5 star website, post their own topics and links and then using the email address the 5 star site used to submit to their DDL site submit their posts on the 5 star site to larger DDL sites. Their posts would then get loads of downloads and they'd make loads of money. Their own personal DDL site was just to gather email addresses not to generate traffic or downloads.

You can still do this but as DDL sites don't get as much traffic it's not as common. It happened a lot though when I worked on MechoDDL as Mecho was one of the biggest DDL sites after Katz closed. To try and prevent it I used to track what IP address they would submit from so lets say the real owner used phazeddl to submit then I'd flag it for review if submitted topics came from another DDL submitter or a different IP than what was generally used. Created a lot more work but it was the only way as I couldn't introduce a password system as they'd only use the same password on all DDL submitters anyway to make it easier to submit. I did try a more secure API system for submitting but it didn't really work as people all already had their own systems.

What got even more crazy was intelligent guys were able to track from their own fake DDL sites what DDL Submitters the admins of 5 star warez forums were using and then just use those making it impossible to track unofficial submits.

This is one of the reasons you often saw 5 star warez sites submit crap posts or topics that didn't have the required amount of Gold Rated file hosts and were allowed to keep their rank as it wasn't really their fault.

Who would have though their was an underground world to DDL Submitters?
