any way to use external image as Featured image

i am added external image in my blog (cover image), but in index page image is not showing

but when i clicked feature image and uploaded to server, now it is visible..

so any way to use external url image as featured image..?

How to link image instead of uploading it for featured image?

I don't want to upload photos on my hosting, is there any way that i can link image for featured post? please let me know
