Hmm, I thought they sold off the site (or what was left of it) and the new owner restored the basic structure and user accounts at a new location. If you dig through this thread back when he arrested and the site went down it should have some info.
Well, I guess when my premium membership comes up for renewal at the end of the week that'll be that.
If they're going to wipe out the account balance so I can't use those funds for the monthly renewal, I sure as hell ain't going to pay them money to continue their disastrous service.

Damn, it's been a while since we've seen a top 3 or 4 file host bite the dust like this.
You have to wonder if something else is going on behind the scenes or if they've just decided to take the money and run.
Yeah, at the death rate of file hosts do you really want to spend the extra up-front money on a service that may be gone in a year or two?
If you share a good selection of files, it's not too difficult to generate enough commission income to pay for one of these services.
The first time someone purchases a new premium account it is listed in the SOLD PREMIUM ACCOUNTS category.
When they renew an existing premium account, it is listed in the REBILL category.
As an example, if someone buys a new monthly premium account in July, it'll be listed in the SOLD column...
