I'm not complaining, but stating that they're just way too slow. Also, I'm not one of "you". As for Rapidshare, even that one is able to utilize whole 100 mbps line, didn't try it on a faster server yet.

Well, this topic obviously isn't closed, so I'll just add one more post. Out of curiosity, I just tried Uploadbox and upload speed was superslow. What's your upload speed? I tried it from several servers, each located in different country and the best I could get is this: Absolute shame...

I just needed a server on fast line, so I took the cheapest 1 gbps server from Ecatel a month ago. Took them 6 hours to send me the invoice, but well, it was during holidays, they said they are short on staff and they're sorry... I can live with that. Server was really delivered within 1 hour...

Well, depends which country. Europe is really big. Wouldn't be for less than 1000 eur a month in my country. They sell them for bargain price in Holland. (actually at this point I meant just the dedicated connectivity itself) Or in OVH it's really cheap...

Well, if you're conviced that it's a DDOS attack, try this -> http://deflate.medialayer.com/ If it doesn't help, try HW firewall. If it was really a heavy DDOS measurable in gbps, the data center would have nullrouted your IP a long time ago already.

Talking about "true" DDOS attacks... hardware firewalls are able to filter the traffic only up to some certain amount. So when the "true" DDOS attack comes, they're useless anyway. Also wondering how you found out that you're being DDOSed, because it's like the first thing people say when they...
