Which browser are you using? Normally, what happens is that if you become idle, the chatbox does not refresh.

As you know it was Christmas, new years etc - so we are extremely busy at this time of year. It looks as if the thread was binned by mistake, we'll make sure this does not happen again. You can go ahead and post the thread.
