Hello,
i'm searching for a root Server with the Following specs:
CPU: at least 1 Xeon E5504
RAM: at least 32GB
HDD: 1 SSD with 64GB (or better) plus at least 6TB HDD enterprise HDDs
Speed: 1x 1Gbits with at least guaranteed 500Mbits
Bandwidth: unlimited would be nice. But at least 20TB...
i would prefere nginx.
(even on the main-server)
this is just, because nginx is way faster than apache (even if you then can't use a clickybunty-Management-Tool).
Nginx is (if you ask me) faster, more flexible, more stable and easier to configure manually.
yes. But that's false advertisement :/
e.g. your last offer " HP Xeon E3-1240v2 (3.30 GHz)" for 75€
will in reality cost 136,99€ + setup fee (120,00€)
and i've only choosen the cheapest location, HDD and the 2x 1Gbits o.o
At least fix your prices here. or say that everything will cost more...
How do i get the Server for 75€ o.o
if i choose a Datacenter it will automatically cost more than the prices here :/
what are the "standard" HDDs?
and if i choose quaterly paymet i'll get it everything for free :3
ecatel won't ignore BREIN.
so the Netherlands are no options.
since he don't want BREIN, he probably don't want DMCA, so nearly every other hoster will be bad.
Perhaps then russia?
what's your budget?
you can either try flashing your router with s.th. like tomato (if it works)
or use pfsense, endian etc.
There you can configure 2 WAN-Adresses & route specific PCs through specific WAN-Ports.
or even "merge" them to a bigger Internet-Connection
where do you put this config you have posted?
a normal apache-site-config-file will look like this:
<VirtualHost *:80>
DocumentRoot /home/somedomain.org/public_html
ServerName somedomain.org
<Directory /home/somedomain.org/public_html/>
AllowOverride All...
i'm not sure, if webmin is now able to handel virtual-hosts (in the past, this wasn't possible).
So have you googled? and or checked your logs?
i assume it's possible.
So check your apache-config on /etc/apache2/apache.conf
make sure you have " Include /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/" enabled...
Ads are all about content. (and user(Visitors) klicking on your ads). since more content means more visitors coming to your site. And more visitors mean more views and/or clicks.
Users are not necessary users that have to get registered. But users that will contribute to your site and i meant...
first: get loads more content
second: get more users
third: now think about adding some ads. don't use popups or layers (you site isn't that special, as it can prevent the customer from leaving, even after having an overlay)
well.
according to your stats
that's really nothing.
You can't be around 800k with such less users online. (or you have cheated somehow)
i would check why there are so few people on your board.
is about 1,5 Month away. So what have you changed since then?
your Daily Time on Site is down to...
hum.
should the command for ftp folder-delete not be
rmdir (linke the windows-thing?)
or try
mdelete *
but i'm not shure if this will work recursevly.
there's not a single FTP-Client (which i remember) who does delte like this - they always goes within the directoreis and delete the files...
have you tried using s.th. like
WP Super cache -> http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/
or
W3 super cache -> http://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/
don't let your archive be open -> when it's closed you're saving a SQL-Query.
don't display the tag-cloud -> again saved SQL-Queries
