That's right. Only Books, Movies and TV shows are available for now, but it says they'll launch Mobiles, Cameras, etc. soon. They are currently selling through a marketplace model akin to eBay (and more recently Flipkart), since they haven't got the full regulatory approval yet (FDI in ecommerce).

That's pretty good news. :D I guess they are betting on the Indian government updating its FDI policy on e-commerce sooner rather than later. I guess it will be a while until we really see this getting close to a launch and this is probably just them preparing for when they get government approval.

Strange. :| I am from India and tried that promo from an Indian IP and used Indian address for registration. It didn't throw any error at me. :S

Think of a problem then make something that solves it. It could be anything, maybe simplify something complex, or maybe automate something cumbersome? The possibilities are literally endless. It's the best to way to learn any programming language and you solve a real world problem in the process.
