I'm experiencing severe FTP problems since a 4-5 days: both ftp and ftp1 uploads start but suddenly end with a "broken pipe" message. I rarely manage to upload one 451 MB file: 99% of tries end up in a "broken pipe". FTP worked like a charm from my location at full speed (11 MB/s) for weeks...
