Hehe, there I was complaining to Fileserve that their servers are slow. It turned out Uploadstation's FTP Uploads are even worst. Currently FTP uploading the same files side by side with Fileserve and Uploadstation speed is 4X slower...Fileserve @1.4 Mbit/s Uploadstation @418 Kbit/s! No Eye See...
Well, it's been 1 year and 2 weeks since going premium with Fileserve and I have this to say:
- the file manager has always been SLOW! SLOW! SLOW!
- uploads take forever to process. Very annoying!
- JDownloader doesn't like Fileserve folder links
- Fileserve still blocks Hong Kong and UK...
Even with premium, your files still get deleted. The worst is, not all files in a series are deleted; only one or two. So, 10-part RAR one or two files get deleted. Then you have to waste time and effort to manually find out which part is deleted so you can re-upload. I'd rather they delete...
Actually, if you noticed Fileserve's download count is way off. However, it could be delayed for many hours if not days. It's definitely not what the fine print says: "Download counts may not include downloads from last hour".
haha, sorry but seeing how guys cry foul makes me LOL!
Don't you just hate ranking systems!
And WOW! 1 month delayed payment. Bitshare must be really short on cash! No wonder they switched to ranking system.
@Uploadstation:
Btw, forgot to mention that clicking on the "#DL" column does not sort properly...at least not ascending or descending order.
There are more bugs but I don't know how to put them into words. Maybe later... :)
@Uploadstation:
How about fixing some of your annoying system bugs asap?
Date search only valid on the first page. For example, Searching for "ABC" and set date to "May 1st". The system will display all those ABC files from May 1st and onwards. As soon as you click on "Next page", the...
I always wonder what kind of calendar Bitshare uses to count "7 days" for payment. 2011-05-18 minus 2011-05-04 = 7 days!?!?
It must be an ancient calendar that had no odd numbers! :D
FTP upload not working. When the transfer gets to 100%, the same file starts transferring from 0% and goes on an endless loop. It has been like this since this 9 hours ago!
The result 9 hours later:
LOL!!
I know. How is that different from people selling foreign pirated porn DVD that are not copyrighted in the US but are copyrighted in the manufacturer's home country. That I believe is legit.
I always wonder what DMCA have anything to do with most Japanese videos that are only copyrighted in Japan. DMCA is an American thing and I fully understand protecting American companies' intellectual properties. But iT seems Fileserve is extending DMCA internationally just so it doesn't hurt...
FTP Upload speed is slow slow slow! 500-745 Kbps or about 60-90 KB/s per connection. Ouch!
Oh, may I also add that it takes as much as 10 minutes to acknowledge 100% FTP transfer completed.
