Haha, I got banned too, for having "Illegal DMCA files", except that I got less than 10 files removes for DMCA in like 3 months, I think I know the real reason though and I know what I'm gonna do now. :)) P.S. All my files are still online. :))

Did you know that this thread will also be closed per WJ's rules if you ban people's accounts for such trivial stuff? Check Lumfile's thread for more info.

They have blocked hundreds (if not thousands) of accounts after MU went down for uploading material that generated too many DMCAs, you can find a few dozen examples right here in this thread. 95% of them will be banned after they request their first payment or maybe even before it.

Quick question, don't you think there is one way more important issue you need to take care of before adding new features and asking for suggestions?

They can and they will, there are lots of examples if you search around. If the send/receive pattern of your account changes dramatically, they'll limit your account and question you because they don't know what business you run, they don't have the time and manpower to check all of the millions...

@WDF, apparently you didn't read what I wrote properly, they CAN limit accounts because they want to but they CAN'T do so because the user might be an uploader of copyrighted material since there is no way they might have proof of the latter or at least the latter can't be the reason they would...

Paypal having proof that an uploader is uploading copyrighted material is one thing (not sure since when they have become part of MPAA/RIAA/etc), limiting people's accounts because they wanted to is another. They can limit people's accounts because of the latter because it is in their TOS but...
