Alexa is a pretty decent indication to me. You cannot rely solely on alexa, but if you are interested in sites that have been up for a while and to also have decent traffic.. anything under 100,000 usually show you that is guaranteed.

pretty much the only thing that would be wrong after that is, when processing the titles,urls,types etc it would drop the entire last submission(s) lot if it were to exceed $dailyL, instead of accepting the remaining allowed then dropping the rest.. For instance katz system drops all...
