Could you also share with me why the download counting and remote upload aren't working?
download counting is working fine, Bugs are a part of life. The good thing about FileQ is that we're always here to help and fix any issues as quickly as possible. If you're experiencing a problem, please share a screenshot of the error along with your account username so we can track your account and investigate the issue.

For the latest updates, please check the messages above. Thank you!

Admin, I’m just working—I haven’t done anything wrong.

Also, the statistics are still frozen. Even though I downloaded this file 50 times, it still shows only 14 downloads:

Your statistics haven't been working for the past two days either, my friend. The admin has disabled the PPD system and is just making money from the ads.

Not on FileQ yet — I was reading the API docs to see what an integration would look like. Two gaps in the documented API that matter if you're automating, plus one caveat for video people:

1. No delete endpoint. There's files/deleted to list deleted files, and folder create/rename, but nothing to actually delete a file or folder. Cleaning up a catalogue means doing it by hand in the panel.

2. public is read-only. file/list returns a public field, but no endpoint changes it. You can't flip a file's privacy after upload without the web UI.

3. For those pushing video through it: file/info returns filecode, name, status, size, uploaded, downloads — no thumbnail field. Makes sense for a general file host, but it means you can't build a forum post with previews from the API alone, unlike the usual video XFS hosts.

Possible these exist and just aren't documented — if so, worth adding to the docs page.

Hello @Stexno Thank you for pointing this out. I really appreciate it.

1. Delete endpoint. we have endpoint for this task, yes, its not added in API page, if you neened i can share with you,

2. public is read-only. Noted. I've shared this with our team, and we'll work on it soon.

3. pushing video through it. That's because FileQ is a Download focus file host, not a dedicated video hosting platform. For our use case, we don't think video thumbnails are necessary. FileQ is mainly focused on file downloads, not video playback

Good to hear that the delete endpoint already exists and that you're looking into the public field. And that makes total sense regarding the video thumbnails.

Anyway, best of luck with the project! Running a file host is a tough business, but what you're building looks solid and it's great to see you actively listening to feedback. Really hope FileQ stays around for the long run!

You're absolutely right. Especially with server costs increasing month by month. I really appreciate your feedback. Thank you!
