What do you host on your VPS?

Tell us what you use your servers for, maybe it'll give some of us an idea or two on what we could host.

I have a few VPS that I use for personal use, one of them hosts a VPN I use to tunnel servers hosted in my home.

You can use for torrenting, seeding, and build a Custom cPanel for hosting websites, or make a video streaming server.

I mainly use my servers for video streaming infrastructure and storage.

I run HLS/M3U8 streaming systems with Cloudflare R2/B2, Nginx, FFmpeg and CDN setups. I also use separate VPS servers for processing, automation and server-side security.

For larger projects, I usually keep storage, processing and the website/server infrastructure separated so one workload doesn't affect the others.

It's actually a pretty interesting setup once you start dealing with high video traffic.

I also provide these setups for other webmasters when they need a custom video hosting/streaming infrastructure

The opportunities are really so much out there, some clients do host it for some purpose and some for other, like for hosting any a streaming website, with video streaming, or some community forums like these, or more personal projects, the possibilities are so much, and the use is diversified.
