Is it better to register download.com, or downloads.com?

I know that theres a perk if your keyword is in the domain, for example I am going for download as my main keyword, would downloads.com be a better choice for me? As it encompasses the keyword, downloads AND download?

Or exact match is better? Thanks in advance.

For the keyword 'download' it wouldn't matter to much because users search for both frequently.

As what I know, it wouldn't matter much as long as you have the whole keyword "download"

you can even go for "download123" but the 123 would not make any sense. Instead you can go for "downloadkey" or "downloadkeygen" "downloadserial" "downloadcrack" etc. That will surely help you in getting a significant rank for the keyword "download"

But, I'd suggest you not to go with the "download" keyword domain as the competition is too much already and you wouldn't succeed as there are already well-known established with that keyword. Example : http://download.com

hmm... why ?

download.com will have only 1 keyword whereas downloads.com will have two "download" "downloads"

Please explain as in why download.com is better I'm always ready to learn :D

when u searching at googel the first time google search domain name and TLD after that
tag title relevancy to keyword , keyword relevancy to content

then this on one build..mean domain, tag title, keyword and content your site good if relevancy
